In the future, the Wednesday Wants and Needs will be for paid subscribers. But let’s get to know each other before I throw out my more controversial advice, like why I think you should pay on the first date.
Do you even want to get back into dating? Have you been out there and walked away in disgust? Are you a serial dating app deleter? (Come sit next to me.) Need advice on what to do when you see a co-worker or someone’s husband on an app? (It was shocking. The first time.) Or do you want to complain? Bring it.Â

For those of you who prefer completely anonymous advice, I recommend the Dating Over 40 subreddit. Of course, like everywhere, some whiny posters are angry that dating isn’t like what they learned from beer commercials.
